Man i got to hand it to the person that got all those lots.
With the rookie Babe Ruth climbing, you would think that would increase the value of the other cards in the set and the ones on Heritage were mostly psa 7-8s. I assume the rarity of the amount of cards that are available have impacted the value but am questioning if any price jumps may occur considering the many star cards and the Ruth. I wish i had more money or i would of continued to bid on those lots. Someone may of gotten a steal when selling the cards individually. Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 11-18-2016 at 03:24 PM. |

Agree with Pete.
It was (a decade?) or so ago that SCP (?) auctioned off a full 1952 Topps PSA 8 set. Today, the PSA 8 Mantle is worth more than the entire set realized back in the day - and many of the PSA 8 commons from the set have been flat to slightly downward in value. m |

In addtion, the highest of the high grades in the 1952s like the PSA 9s have grown in price, many of the cards at heritage were the highest possible grade for the m101 issue which was at the psa 8 level Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 11-19-2016 at 06:09 AM. |

T206, 1952 topps, 14/15 CJ...iconic sets.
M101...not so much. Sure the HOF'ers especially the cobbs, the ruths, the HOF rookies in top condition should continue to do well. And yes a lot of HOF'ers in top condition should do ok...but the majority of cards in the set are commons. Not where I'd be throwing my $$$ but this is just my opinion. |
