Default WTB - 1933/1934 Graded Jimmie Foxx

Doing some Christmas shopping as my 17 year old always uses this time of year to add to his budding pre-war collection at dad's expense. This year, he has his heart set on a 1933 or 1934 Goudey Jimmie Foxx (#29, #160, or #1 in 1934). Something that is slabbed and presents well in the PSA/SGC 1.5-3.5 range.

My wife's maiden name is Fox. Her dad's name was Jim. He went by Jimmy as a kid. He passed while she was pregnant with Conner, and his middle name is James - so that is why he has taken a special interest in double X. Granted, his grandpa was Jimmy Fox, not Jimmie Foxx - but he gets a kick out of it.

I am combing ebay and have my searches on. While I am primarily a post-war set collector (as of now), I do grab a pre-war card on occasion. With that said, if anyone sees something that looks to be a very good value, please let me know as I am doing some recent sale research now trying to determine the going rate.

Thanks again!
Kevin
