I Wonder Just Wonder
With just about a week to go in the auction, mighty "Jumbo" Hans is sitting at $1.9 million. Not bad, but a long way from Ken Goldin's estimate of $5m. I wonder what impact, if any, on card pricing there will be if bidding peters out and the card ends up, say, at $2.5m. Perhaps after the Mastro wickedness the card has lost some of its mystique and cache. Yet the hot money must still be around: the Clemente RC 8 is up over hundred grand. I think it is pretty damn exciting.
