What is this American Caramel Cobb worth?

Hello all. A family friend found this today in her grandfathers safe. I am more of a postwar guy (ducks) so I am posting it here to see what you experts think it is worth.
I do not know if she is interested in selling, its way too early for that. But I would love to know what your thoughts are on value.
