Thinking of adding this pin to my jackie collection but the buyer only us 4 feedback. Id love some advice as to whether this looks authentic or not if possible. Thanks so much!

Authentic, and a rare one in that condition (without the foxing/staining).

Definitely one of the tougher variations.

Neat ball and bat on that one but the pin isn't quite as nice.

I don't have any knowledge about this particular pinback, but I don't advise using Muchinsky's book (which I'm assuming is the one you're referring to) as an accurate price guide. Great photos and it's a good reference to see what's out there but, while some prices may reflect the actual market, I think most do not and many are way off (as in generally listed as much higher than reality). That said, it may well be that the prices listed are an accurate guide as to relative scarcity and desirability, but not actual market value.

I understand scarcity and player value, but that is a pretty unattractive pin in any condition.

In the future you may want to be careful about advertising the ebay auctions you are interested in. Someone may have snatched it from you because you brought it to their attention.
