Default Memorabilia you wished you bought

Have you ever kicked yourself for not buying a piece of memorabilia or auto then later go back to buy it and it was gone? This happened to me a couple years ago my wife and I where at a antique mall and this stall had a jack Dempsey display that was hand made of his restaurant menu, tickets, autographs and other neat items. This was around my birthday and my wife said if I wanted it we would buy it for me but I had my eye on a couple items on eBay (of course I didn't win them) so I said I will think about it and didn't buy it. I thought about it after I didn't win the cards and said I wanted it and went back to buy it and it had already sold and to this day I wish I would have pulled the trigger.

Frequently I've missed out on items on ebay that I immediately kick myself for not throwing stronger bids towards. Never know if the winner had a larger margin of max bid of not of course but always regret not going a tad higher.

Often follow ebay items during the course of a week sometimes bidding and occasionally winning. Usually dropping out basically due to funds. The last item I really kicked myself for not bidding stronger on was a while back and discussed here on the board. Guy posted a stand alone D and M Sporting Goods Joe Jackson advertizing cardboard standup. I think it was about 12-14 inches tall and in fairly rough shape but still I`d never seen one and the description was so/so. It reminded me of those repo Gehrig Glove cardboard ads that people find all the time. Anyway watched it close at 550.00 or so and just couldn`t pull the trigger. Few days later was happy to see a fellow 54`er took a chance, won it, and had some restoration done and it was beautiful. Being a Joe Jax/Black Sox fan it`s an item I`ll always remember.

Default Wrong section

Just in case you are unaware, this is the B/S/T section. Buy/Sell/Trade. This thread, although interesting, does not belong here. It should be posted on the main page or the memorabilia/autograph section (depending on intent). Not trying to be nasty, just pointing out the error in the posting.
