Brooklyn Baseball Uniform - Help Identify
My father received this wool uniform during WWII when he was stationed at an airbase outside London. He said that the base started baseball teams of GIs and that the Brooklyn Dodgers sent some used uniforms for the players. I always thought it might be a Dodgers' spring training or minor league uniform, but given the colors I am thinking now that that is probably not correct. Does anyone have any information/ideas about the origin of this uniform, and its value? Thanks for any help.

tags
There was a tag on the shirt collar, but it was torn off long before I got the uniform. There are not tags on the pants.

I can't imagine it is a either a Dodgers or minor league uniform from the 40s since it has no number on the back.
