Pretty sure this is a type 1 but wanted other peoples opinions

The Topps card has the Stadium next to his shoulder on the left. In addition, his mouth his closed on the card. Your image has him with a slightly open mouth. There's also a few more difference. Nonetheless- cool photograph!

Not sure, because I'm no expert, but I agree that it is a Type 1 team issue.
