Can I please get your guys opinions on what product is best to get adhesive off of slabs? If there is a specific sub-brand such as Goo-gone adhesive rather than general please let me know that as well.

I have had much success with WD40 without ruining the slab. I have used oil based Goo-Off and ruined the slab (it frosted it). If you insist on using Goof-Off/Goo-Gone make sure it is water based.

The water based one. The oil based one will ruin your slab.

A few drops of lighter fluid. Melts it very quickly so it can be wiped clean.

Lighter Fluid and Oil Based Goof-Off are interchangeable. We have used both products for taking off sticker reside and magic marker off DVD's. They work great and fast. HOWEVER, you must be really quick with your oil based product or it might damage it (the hard acrylic plastic PSA cases are more susceptible than the soft vinyl DVD covers). The risk is there. The water based product will not damage it. I wish I had saved my 1960 Mantle slab that got ruined, however, I sent it in and got it reholdered.
