Default FS: 1000 or so 1953-1956 Topps/Bowman mid-grade raw

This is just a heads up...these are not my cards but belong to someone I met who still has a ton of cards from when he was a kid in the mid-1950s.

I suggested to him that there might be someone here on N54 who would be interested in many/all vs just selling off as singles or lots on eBay.

If interested, I am happy to put you in touch. Southern California collectors may be best since you'd be able to see the cards firsthand.

Do note that he has already sold his 10-20 best singles (no, not to me! ) so don't expect to find a Mickey Mantle or Aaron RC. But do expect many other HOF players, stars, some high numbers, and just a ton of cards from the original owner in nice shape.

Here are the two cards I bought. In general, the better players showed more wear than the commons.

And to others who sent PMs, I just got back from my travels and will respond by tomorrow AM.

thanks! I would definitely be interested in the 1955 and 1956 Topps for sure. Possibly the 1953's and 1954's.
