Saw this in an old SCD
Was looking through a June 1979 SCD and ran across this auction. I wonder what this set sold for in this auction.......and what it would be worth now? Any guesses?  Here's what the issue looks like in color

Back then 1-2 hundred bucks.....now, 10-15 thousand.....just guesses but might not be far off.

Only complete set we've seen sell went for over $36K at MastroNet in April 2005.
Individual cards typically go for anywhere from $100. to $2,500., depending on condition and the player pictured.
