| 1937-8 Complete set, type three

It has been awhile since I posted last so I thought I would show off my recently completed set of type 9 bf3s. It is probably the only type nine set ever completed. (Several of these pennants have never been cataloged) To the best of my knowledge there are 61 in a full set.

Just fabulous. I've been collecting for over 50 years, and it's always great to see other collections and the labor of love that goes into accumulating these great pieces of history.

| type threes

I'm embarrassed. In my post above I said type nines. It must be old age. The above set is a complete set of type threes. Below is my almost complete set (missing one) of type nines.

Scott, I have been collecting these for about 15 years. The Averill I found a few months ago, the only one I have ever encountered in all those years of searching. I had to have a drink to celebrate. Now if I can find a Joe Medwick, type nine...

Here is a Medwick that was on eBay 5-10 years ago in a group of Cardinals BF3s. I remember the guy who won it was specifically a Medwick collector.
