Default CLOSED - The Gordon Richards Collection

This live auction event is destined to go down in the Net54 history as an epic breakthrough. Offered today is my beautiful collection of Gordon Richards tobacco cards, the man who broke Ed Archer's 48 year-old record. If you don't know Gordon Richards, you don't know 20th century horse racing <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Richards>. For a single high bid you will receive all of the following magnificent examples

#1 - The "In The Public Eye" portrait card of Gordon commemorating his "6" win day at Chepstow in 1933, which the locals are still talking about.

#2 - An elegant sepia version also "In The Public Eye" featuring Gordon in a vertically striped jersey. This is a real photo card.

#3 - A full frontal "Jockeys 1930" view of Gordon waiting for his mount.

#4 - A "Sporting Events and Stars" real photo card of Gordon in action riding to victory,

and finally #5, Which could be a rare "hand cut Blank Back TURF" card showing Gordon toward the end of his career with an unusually large head (and perhaps ego)
.
You will have to agree that this is a "once in a lifetme opportunity" to bolster your collection with five different type cards of this superstar jockey of yesteryear.

Now for the good news. I am offering this Gordon Richards collection for auction with an opening bid of only $5. An international surcharge may be necessary for bidders outside the US, but $5 includes shipping in the states.
$1 minimum increments are requested. Any form of no fee payment is okay and if you pay the fees any payment is fine.

Initially I was going to run this auction for only 24 hours, but to be fair in anticipation of the incredible demand for these cards, I have decided to close the auction on Thursday Nov 20 immediately before 9:00:00 PM CST.

To all you bidders in the paddock good luck, but I know you will not beat Gordon to the finish line.

"They're off."
