1920 W512, 513, 515, 520, and 551 8 Card Lot - Stengal, Herb Pennock
Up for auction is an 8 card lot of W cards (thanks a bunch for the PM from Bocabirdman correcting my original post). This is part of my Phoenix buy and they are in poor shape with some trending toward fair (scans included).
I don't know much about these (I sound like a bad ebay description - next thing, I will be claiming that my grandfather gave them to me...) . There were a few pre-war cards in the purchase. I plan on keeping the T206's, the 33 & 34, 35, and 38 Goudey's and the Play Balls. I am going to move the rest of them. Know that if there are any issues once received, I will make anything and everything right. The 8 cards in the lot are: Herb Pennock #68 (513) Ed Rommell #5 (515) Bill Cunningham #1 (515) George Kelly #18 (520) Jess Haines #78 (513) Dave Bancroct (6 sharp corners, number not shown) (512) Al De Vormer #80 (513) Casey Stengal - no number shown. (551) The cards do not look identical - so my description could be wrong and they might not all be W520 - there was a note by one of the cards saying that was what they were, so I assumed they all were. Again, if that is wrong and I need to correct the listing, please advise. (thanks Mike) I will start the auction at $10 with $2 shipping. Increments in whole numbers.
