This just sold on eBay as not only as a white letter but white team name.
![]() I think it's faded. Can't believe PSA graded it a a white letter version.

Looks faded. Would like to see in hand. In hand faded sticks out like a sore thumb compared to a real missing color card.
The biggest tell on this card is the super faded magenta. I would also bet in hand the word YANKEES is an off white and not the same exact white as the borders. |

Was watching it; been hoarding that card lately but a friend was into it. Great centering for that notorious OC and tilted card-- not too many that nicely centered.

Hopefully your friend didn't end up with that piece of faded trash. I have never "tested" a 69 Topps card for color fastness but I can guarantee it did not leave the factory that color.
