Ebay Ruth check - AAU And Fake PSA letter?

What in the world is this exactly, the check looks really odd, and I mean not just the signature but everything about it. It has a weird looking psa sticker on the reverse, and an AAU sticker, like something from CC. The PSA letter looks bizarre too the way the image is on it.

Judging from the date on the cert of 2001 wasn't that around the time PSA got started? Things for them were probably back then with pictures on the website, stickers and certs were probably pretty basic back then and nothing like today so things look alot different than were used to 13 years later.

It is a little odd that the cert number on the sticker looks to be hand written but I don't have anything contemporary to compare.

The PSA cert looks fine to me as well as the sticker. That is what they used when they first started. I have a few like that at home, but you ironically rarely see them around.

The listing shows that it ended. I wonder if somebody bought it or the seller just took it off.
