I'm sorry if this is redundant on "How do you store your collection" thread but I loved the look of the T206 set posted recently. Also if you have slabbed in 4 pocket pages..post them too.
Thanks. Scott |

I just picked up this binder recently. It was fun cracking all my slabs and putting them in order by team.

So question, as I'm new to the board and the concept of breaking graded cards out of their holders. Aren't you invalidating the grade by doing that? Because now your cards can get more worn/creased? Are you intending to resubmit them all at a later date (either for a value increase or so they all have the same case type)? Just seems bizarre to pay a premium (normally) for a graded card, only to make it ungraded.

We just do it because we prefer the cards in their natural state. If I have a card that I care about it's value, or I might resell it, I leave it in the graded slab. I never intend to part with the cards I've freed from their holders. Any card that has been cracked out would have to be re-examined by the grading company before they would put it back in a holder.

I've cracked most of my OJs. So much easier to display. I keep my O'Connor in the holder and anything I might trade/sell.
Okay, I'll show off my O'Connor, ![]() ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406858091.761630.jpg

Yeah, that is a good idea. I don't bother with it myself, because my cards are low grade and not of particular interest to anyone (at least I don't think so).

Although this does impact the card removal effect (read about it at sportscollectorsdaily.com), my belief is the grading companies don't care. I'm confident that when they accept a crossover, they do not notify their competitor.

Great collections...really like the T206's and OJ one! My binders are not really binders but I thought it was close enough so figured I'd share.

This one was sold to me by a friend on the forum. The company that made it is called Murray Cards, but they are not in business anymore. Hope you can find one. I love this one.

Thank you for posting that! I didn't find it when I looked. Those prices are very reasonable too.
