Wolverine News Sam Crawford portrait proof photo?
I recently bought this great vintage photo of Sam Crawford in Leon's spring 2014 auction. It is the same pose used in the 1907 Wolverine News postcard set. Is it possible this is a proof photo for this set? The photo has all of the hallmarks of being an original Type 1 photo. Has anyone seen this photo before? Also if anyone has the postcard version of this photo I would like to acquire one to match with my photo.
