New member from WI

Hello! My name is Bill and I am a retired teacher and long time forum reader from Western Wisconsin. Have been collecting cards for many years (mostly 50's and 60's sets) and after completing my 1958 set plan on working on a pre-war HOF player collection if able. Cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the hobby knowledge I have gained from the members of this forum. I still have a fake Maris RC I bought a few years ago but with your help that has not happened since. Also, when someone posts an OJ thread I now think of baseball cards and not the scene where OJ Simpson is doubled up in a hospital bed with Frank in the Naked Gun movie (most of the time anyway).
Have to give credit to my son Mike who is my hobby gofer and writes for me and I could not do this without his help.
My thanks to Leon for helping me join this site and hope you all have a nice long Memorial Day weekend!

Will try to collect HOF player cards made while they were active. Most likely Goudey 33 and 35, Play Ball and some T206. Have most made from 56 to 75. Will need some help from members to make my list.

Thanks Pete! Worked in Minnesota for many years and still get to Winona once in a while. Our home is in the old bed of the Mississippi River so who knows , I may be a be a resident someday. (But will stay a Packer fan)
