Hmmmm... it certainly has all the characteristics of a 1908 Cubs/White Sox postcard but it's not listed in the checklist. (edit: nevermind... I see at the bottom where it states "The checklist presented here is probably not complete.")

$ in Shield is its street name. It was actually produced by Suhling Publishing of Chicago. Sullivan is previously known. That book is outdated.

I think the Comiskey might be considered another card issued by the same manufacturer and not necessarily part of the "set."
It has a completely different look and I wonder if it was issued separately. The same sort of holds true for the team card, although that one at least has the same gray color. Just a thought... Robert S |

They didn't give you much room to write the message on the back of the postcard back then. You could fit about five words in that "space reserved"
