I have a friend that just contacted me and said he was recently given some things that belong to his grandmother and asked me if I knew anything about this baseball. He was told is was a Dodgers game ball that was signed by the team. He wants to sell it, but I've yet to see it in person and not sure what to offer as I'd more than likely be trading or reselling it.
I'm also not sure of year for two reasons. First, the Koufax signature looks like some of his very early signatures pre '60s. And second, there's a signature of Lefty Phillips who became the pitching coach in '65 (but was a scout prior). Pictures are awful cellphone pics that were sent to me. I would appreciate anyone's help as to opinions and ideas of value. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Probably a '66 due to Don Sutton signature. I don't believe Drysdale signed.

This ball definitely appears to be a stamped ball and is likely not actually signed by the players. These facsimile stamped balls were sold at the stadium and are not particularly valuable, being condition sensitive.

I have not seen it in person but I was not aware of stamped balls from the '60s and not sure why a stamped ball would have a pitching coach and not one of the main stars of the team (Drysdale).

This is clearly a preprinted ball that was sold as a souvenir. I can't explain why someone like Drysdale is missing, but the pictures are pretty consistent with work we know about these types of balls. Preprinted souvenir balls have been sold as far back as the 50s.

I was wrong Drysdale is on there as well. He says it's not stamped, but again, I have not seen it in person. I appreciate the replies.
