Came across this item.
To me it's too neat, you can read the thing. Any thoughts? Charlie. Last edited by Maddog; 11-16-2014 at 11:46 AM. |

If you look in my bucket in the autographs section, I have a bunch of autographed cards I got through the mail in the late 70's/early 80's that look similar to yours. And his 1967 Topps card has an autograph printed on it that looks pretty close to it, too.
Many of the 'experts' around here, though, will tell you his signature never looked like that (despite its appearance on his '67 card) and it's his wife's signature you are seeing. When you ask them to back it up with any type of evidence, they go silent. It gets really frustrating. So take it for what it's worth.

I agree, I doubt his wife signed his '67 card and it does look close.
I have seen a few variances of his signature over the years. Wish Ron had some other examples in his book ![]() |
