Wouldn't it be nice to get a discount on the Live Auctions. Well here's your Chance. Yes --- up for auction is a T205 Gold Border (well actually green) card of Hall of Famer Frank Chance with a Piedmont Factory 42 back. The heavy creases miss his face entirely, which is slightly wrinkled though, but after 100+ years what do you expect. Consider the green border a fine patina or an expensive variation worth hundreds.
The auction will run for 3 days ending at 10PM CST on Sunday January 26th. Bidding will start at $6 and I am asking for $2 increments or multiples of $2 increments. Don't you just love it when sellers on Ebay post scans of their entire scanner bed without cropping and there is a little tiny T card in the corner. How do they expect to sell anything? Not I, I know how to crop and as an added feature of this auction I have included an example of my cropping prowess. If the winning bidder can identify the second scan at the end of the auction, he will receive 25% off his bid price for the Chance and he will receive the second card absolutely free plus there will be no charge for shipping or handling. I wouldn't want to handle that second scan anyway. Please do not reveal the identity of the second scan prior to the end of the auction. The entire scan will be posted after the winning bidder has made his choice. I would remind you the $2 increment in this auction will simplify the discount calculation, but raises of $4, $6, $8, etc are perfectly okay as well. For example, a $36 winning bid with correct identification of the scan would pay only $27 dollars and receive both cards. Imagine that.

I should have won the card just to answer the mystery question - I knew that one as soon as you posted the first image :-) Want to know what is scarier, though? That 1992-93 Classic Draft Picks Shaq card has been counterfeited! At it's peak it was about an $8 card, but someone saw fit to fake it in large quantities. Go figure.

I read the new title quickly, and thought it said "A Chance to Shag...". So I clicked on the link, and now I'm disappointed.
