W461 Exhibits 1921 Exhibits George L Kelly VG+/VGEX SOLD! See pix. White spot below right elbow might be paper loss. “Highpockets” Kelly, who Bill James says is the worst player in the Hall of Fame. 1923-24 Exhibits Charles Grimm $40 SOLD VG-EX or so. R314 Goudey Wide Pens R314 Goudey Wide Pen Type 4 “Creamy”: Bobby Doerr SOLD $30 Rookie card of this Hall-of-Famer. Corners are VG-EX to almost EX. There is a not-too-noticeable wrinkle in the lower left corner. The card may have been glued into an album at one time, and been soaked to remove glue. The front has some light stains and a light bluish-white residue in spots from this. There is a light smear near the tip of the bat. The back has a couple of spots of minor surface damage, probably from being removed from an album. R314 Type 4 “Creamy”: Goose Goslin $40 SOLD Nice about-EX card with no issues. Goslin is one of the very tough Detroit players from this series, which may actually belong to the quite-rare R314 Type 5 Canadian issue. R314 Type 4 “Creamy”: Wally Moses- $9.00 VG+. Light crease lower left corner, upper right corner. R314 Type 3 Borderless: Herman Clifton - $4.00 SOLD Poor/fair. Multiple serious creases. R314 Type 3 Borderless: Joe Cronin - $7.00 SOLD Looks EX, until you realize that ¼ inch trimmed off bottom edge. R314 Type 3 Borderless: Bill Knickerbocker - $5.00 Tack holes in all four corners. Writing on reverse. See the attached pix. I'm happy to email anybody additional close-ups of any portion of any card if you want better pic Kevin Overstrom Last edited by Kevin536; 08-18-2013 at 11:21 AM. Reason: Card sold |
