Hey gang. I recently obtained these bats in lieu of money owed to me and need some help establishing their value. I was owed $500 so I'm hoping I did okay. There are three different bats. Thanks in advance!
1) Babe Ruth (pictures 1,2,3)- 36" H&B store model. Condition 9/10. Bat is very clean and shows no use. Surprisingly light bat considering the length 2) Lou Gehrig (pictures 4,5,6)- 35" JC Higgins "Lou Gehrig Model". Condition 7/10 (eye appeal 9/10). I believe there may be a slight crack in handle. Bat is VERY heavy and the patina is amazing. My favorite of the three bats. 3) Jimmie Foxx? (pictures 7,8)- 34" Draper & Maynard "Model 71". Was told this was Foxx model before he switched to LS. Condition 9.5/10...looks brand new, amazing condition Last edited by Gobucsmagic74; 04-01-2016 at 10:49 AM. |
