Default 1910 Dalton PA All Star Baseball Team Christy Mathewson
Hi, Could anyone identify these baseball players? I think I have 2 figured out. Christy Mathewson and Tim Samuel Strothers. I was also wondering what the team emblems might be. 2 photos attached. Thank you in advance, Maggie.

I hope for your sake, one of them is Chrity Mathewson, but I personally am not seeing a connection.

Which one do you think is Matty?

I don't see Matty at all and to top it off these are all kids. Mathewson was a 30 year old pitching for the New York Giants in 1910.

The player in the white hat at right. Photo is from Dalton near Factoryville.
African American looks like Tim Sam Strothers, the catcher? Thanks!

Post the whole pic and maybe someone here can find an identifiable feature to point you in a direction but your IDs are definitely not correct.

Thank you for all the replies. There appears to be both men and boys in the negative photo. The African American's emblem is CA? Chicago American Giants? Strothers played for them as a catcher.

That's definitely not Strothers, and not the Chicago American Giants logo. While a real nice photograph, it's a kid's team and like everyone else has said, there isn't any way that is Matty nor Strothers. Still a nice photo, appreciate it for what it is.
