Default T207 Lennox Blue C and cap

Does any other T207 collectors have a Lennox with a blue C and blue cap similar to the Fisher blue cap?

The Fisher has either a Blue Cap or a White Cap, the Lennox has a Blue cap only, now if you are asking if the "C" can be found blue instead of white, I would say probably just due to color shifting, which is really what the T207 Davis is as well.

oh cool, all Lennox have a blue cap? The others on ebay now look brown. My eyes are 51 years old BTW.

Default Lennox

Interesting, Dan. The Lennox hat usually looks more brown to me, but yours has a lot of blue in it. I'll have to pull the ones I own and post them. In the meantime, note the difference on the Davis card:

Default Blue caps

Is it possible that the printer experimented with blue ink on the caps of Davis and Lennox? Perhaps to make them stand out better against the dark background? Perhaps when they saw it didn't make much difference in the final look they gave up on the extra blue ink print run.

The printer had some ink left over from a BLUE OLD MILL run and being frugal he used it for Blue Caps. On days when there was no left over ink...no Blue Caps.....
