Hey guys I decided to tackle a great set of 1934 Goudey Baseball cards. I have a few questions about the set and was wondering if some of you guys have any answers or recommendations.
1.Difficult to track down/Rarer cards in the set? 2.What are the expensive ones or the bigger ones besides the Gehrig's 3.Where to buy? 4.Anything else you care to share that may help me on my way to doing this set? All cards will be PSA graded. Thanks for any help |

TedZ had some great info on the set and high numbers here:
http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=151780 Ebay provides a steady stream and AH will offer complete sets on a regular basis, usually nice mid grade. Slabbed Deans and Greenbergs seem to quite high...I like 'em raw. |

I put together a 1934 Goudey set last year. Besides the Gehrigs, the Greenberg and the Foxx are the next toughest. Also there are at least 15 of HOFers in the set so those can be pricey in the higher grades. The high numbers from 73-96 sell for about 50%-75% more.
What condition range are you looking for? I have a few duplicates left. |
