FS-Ed "Whitey Ford" signed 1950 Rookie GPC
So I was planning on keeping this, but Have my eyes set on something else so I need to make some room
Up for sale is a Rookie year 1950 signed by Ed "Whitey" Ford GPC is postmarked Sept 26, 1950. Whitey won his 9th straight the day before (9/25) and posted his only loss of the season the day after (9/27). Whitey was called up in July of 1950 and was virtually unstoppable posting a record of 9-1 in the regular season... Whitey later sealed the deal for the Yanks over the whiz kids with a 5-2 win in game 4 of the series. Rare and significant early Ford signature Scans attached below... Note there was formerly some black residue on the reverse of the gpc that I was able to remove (you can view the former picture in the May Pickups page $100 paypal gift shipped
