I'm hoping that the Plank is down because you changed your mind. There are few certainties in life, Nelson. The sun will rise every day and Nelson owns the Lionel Carter T206 Plank are two of them! Don't take that away from us!

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

You made the right choice Nelson

Like we discussed, the Lajoie is a completely overrated card IMO. It's one of the few rare exceptions where there seems to be more high grade examples than low grade floating around. Most likely due to the whole "mail away for" way of acquisition, which obviously screams serious older collector.

Thanks Glenn !
Your advice and the advice of the other collector i said in my last post was in the same way... Do not deal a Plank for a Lajoie card and both of you think that the Lajoie card is overrated. But i still love this card and hope to own a copy one day

I'm glad you're keeping it, Nelson. I don't think you'll ever regret keeping it, but you might regret it if you sell it. That's such a classic card.

you've put this card up for sale a few times. obviously you're not that attached and want to sell? don't let others talk you out of it. personally i would sell it and try to look for a nice A at around the same price (i think it could be done).

If he's like me and a lot of other collectors, "A's" just don't cut it no matter how great they look. Personally I'd rather have Nelson's well loved example from the LC collection, than a "perfectly altered" example. Make mine an original with a numeric grade every time
