Babe Ruth Pickup- What is It
I picked up this Babe Ruth card off ebay and just received it tonight. I am not really sure what it is.
A google search seams to indicate it's an R308 card of Babe Ruth. It measures 5 1/2" wide x 9" tall and is on a thicker stock. It's definitely old and has a few names written on the back including: Harvey Baker 19?3 Richard Eugene Nancy I purchased it from an antique seller on ebay and I found it on an oddball search as it wasn't really categorized in the pre-war cards but under photos. Anyway any help would be appreciated. It is pretty cool and is my second Babe Ruth item in my collection along with a Type II photo from the 30's. It will make a great display piece. Thanks Tom
