83 topps #490 Jim Palmer error anyone ever notice?
I have known about this error since I was a kid when I pulled it from a pack and never investigated it further untill now. All the cards I have are like this,I assume it is an uncorrected error.
If you look under saves year by year Palmer has 4 career saves and under the major league totals it says 3. Has this been discovered before? Just for the record Palmer did have 4 total saves in his mlb career. What are the chances of a correct version?

Palmer Error
It would be odd that they would show it but not count it, and in 1984 they did count it. But the 84 had some oddities of it's own. Stats' missing in different degrees on the back, and a check mark above his head in the box on some cards ( hard to see but it is on the bottom card)

I`m sure there are a ton of mathmatical type errors on cards that are yet to be discovered,but who really wants to do math!
 This one just jumped out at me and I happened to have a few extra fingers available to dubble check my wurk!
