Sports Collectors Bible by Bert Randolph Sugar (1975). A pre-Beckett attempt at getting some organization to the collecting hobby. Really a monumental effort for the time. Mostly cards with lots of checklists. Sugar also got other "expert" collectors to contribute sections on memorabilia, including an autograph section by Bill Zekus. Unique to this was a collector's registry which includes quite a few collecting legends like Buck Barker and Frank Nagy to some younger guys who went on to bigger and (sometimes) better things - namely Keith Olbermann and "Jim" Beckett. $10.00
