Default 1961 Topps Trade Group Experiment

I'm trying to finish my 1961 Topps set and virtually everyday I get a PM from someone telling me they need such and such high number I have, but have nothing off of my need list to trade for it. This got me thinking. As an experiment, I'm going to form a 'trade group' here. The goal is to find various people who are looking to complete this set and maybe we can help each other out.

In a simplified setting, the scenario would work like this:
1. Vera has a card Chuck needs
2. Chuck has a card that Dave needs
3. Dave has a card Vera needs

Conclusion:
Assuming the 3 cards are of equal shape/value, then Vera sends her card to Chuck, Chuck sends his to Dave and Dave sends his to Vera. Everyone wins by knocking a card off of their need list.

So here are the 'rules:'
a) Simply post what 1961 Topps cards you need and what shape you are looking for.
b) Post what 1961 Topps cards you have to trade (and general conditions of said cards).
c) Optional, but important. Post scans of some of the cards you have to trade, especially if you have hits off of a need list that someone posted before you.
d) Post a short statement of what other stuff you have to trade, in case someone has 1961's but is looking to trade for other years.
e) If you see a deal that could work between posters, state it.

So, who knows? Post what you have and what you're looking for and maybe we can get something done. It's worth a shot!

I'll start...

I Need These 1961's (exmt shape):
2 (Maris), 10 (Robinson), 49 (NL Strikeout Leaders), 160 (Ford), 215 (Bell), 265 (Kubek), 287 (Yastrzemski), 344 (Koufax), 400 (Law), 401 (Ruth), 415 (Aaron), 417 (Marichal), 425 (Berra), 430 (Mazeroski), 449 (Bolin), 461 (Burgess), 464 (Thomas), 465 (McMillan), 472 (Berra MVP), 478 (Maris MVP), 480 (Campanella MVP), 484 (Aaron MVP), 489 (Dropo), 528 (Ramos), 531 (Coates), 544 (Thomas), 549 (Smith), 567 (Murtaugh AS), 576 (Maris AS), 577 (Aaron AS), 578 (Mantle AS), 579 (Mays AS), 580 (Kaline AS), 586 (Ford AS)

Check out my bucket!

I like the thread idea. Unfortunately, most/all of my dups are commons and my needs are similar to others, i.e. mainly high numbers. I do still need quite a few commons but have very little to offer in return.

Well, if you need any of the cards that have been listed as available for trade from me or someone else, shoot us a PM stating what other stuff you have to trade. Maybe someone can use it.

I would join, but don't have any 61s to trade. I am building the set, so my traders are 48-60 and 62-70s.

This is a great idea. Here's a list of the cards I need and those that I have extras of. I'll post some images here to give an idea of condition. If there are specific cards you want to see, let me know. I prefer Ex to ExMt or better.

I have about 40,000 cards from 1953-1982 if there is something else needed, but my preference is to trade cards back and forth from this set.

Thanks,
Eric

Hey Eric.
If I read your post correctly, then I could probably use your 180 and 215. Check the original post up top to see what cards of similar value you can use off of my trade list. If you shoot me scans, I'll do the same.

Hey Eric,

Looks like I have 23 cards in your need list.

28, 117, 128, 146, 147, 161, 193, 222, 271, 275, 293, 346, 351, 352, 353, 355, 359, 363, 403, 410, 422, 431, 466

Check out the link in my post above for scans. I don't need anything that you have listed (unless that mantle in the picture is available).

I do need a handful of jollyems cards. Maybe a 3 way deal? Otherwise, I need 54 and 56 Vg condition. I can post a list if you are interested. Lmk

Thanks,
Joe

I have updated my list on page 1...
I am willing to trade 1953-1958 Topps cards as well to finish this set. Take a look at my needs and send me a PM.
Thanks

I only have about 110 of the set, so it's almost too much trouble to list my needs. So I am going to need pretty much anything any others have.

Thanks.

Default scans of trade bait for 61T High numbers

Team,
Please see the scan of available trade bait to acquire 61T high numbers. I also might interested in 66T highs.
I might have some dupe T205 or low grade Topps stars, but the scan should be self explanatory for my trade potential
