104) BRANCH RICKEY complete personal check dated May 5th, 1964. Measures 3x8 and is made out to "The University Club" Increasingly tough to find on a check , quite possibly the greatest executive in the history of the game he is best remembered for his bringing Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers. $750.00
105) TY COBB complete personal check dated December 14th, 1948. Measures 3x8 and is made out in another hand to "Collector of the Internal Revenue" but signed boldly by Ty Cobb himself. No bank cancel stamps even close to the signature. Nice ! $750.00
106) TY COBB Photo from a magazine measures 2 3/4 x 4 and is attached to a 3x5 index card. Great image of Cobb holding a bat signed boldly in fountain pen on the light portion of his uniform. The original collector has written on the reverse the year the autograph was obtained "1939" A 10 of 10 ! $750.00
112) NAPOLEON "LARRY" LAJOIE Government postcard trimmed to 3x5 in size. Postmarked on the reverse 8/1/1950. $750.00
114) KID NICHOLS cut signature from a personal check attached to the bottom of a "Souvenir of Kid Nichols Day 8/16/1949" placard. Increasingly tough to find autograph he died in 1953. $550.00
115) MEL OTT 3x5 page signed in fountain pen. Originates from the Anthony Russo collection. A perfect 10 ! Obtained through the mail in the late 1930's $650.00
116) HONUS WAGNER Government postcard trimmed to 3x5 in size. Wagner has signed and also written "Pirates 48" Postmarked 8/2/1948 on reverse. Bold fountain pen signature , small tape tapes on the far left and far right edges barely noticable and well away from the signature. $950.00
118) HUGH DUFFY 3x5 index card has signed and also written "Red Sox Scout" There is an ink stain to the right of the signature and one near the bottom middle. $450.00

124) KENESAW MOUNTAIN LANDIS full page typewritten letter dated Sept 15th, 1921. Written on the letterhead of "Judges Chambers United States Courts, District of Illinois Chicago" Measures 5x8. Written close upon the heals of the 1919 Black Sox scandal , Landis writes "Dear Mr Brown, I have recieved here today your letter of September 12th. Strange about that photograph for on reciept of your reply to my inquiry I put it up personally and mailed it to you. When I get back to Chicago in about a week I will again fill the order. With all good wishes, K.M. LANDIS" $650.00
