I got 4 more of the T3s that were on the poster board sheet that was found in VT.
- Jordan & Herzog trimmed and badly damaged - Kling with 2 small holes, staining but somewhat square corners - Tinker that was in 2 pieces and now has tape on back merging the 2 pieces - Mullin not all that bad looking with severe back damage like the others SGC said that the ones with the T206s on the back would be considered Authentic Altered and I asked them if they could put on the flip that there were T206 remnants on the backs of some and they said they would get back to me next week as well as a price for slabbing the 7 that I now own. Does anyone think I should try and soak (I have never tried it) the backs with the T206s to see if there is a fortune waiting on the backs? Or should I just leave them as they are? Slab or not to slab? Thanks in advance for your opinions. thumbnail_IMG_1112.jpg thumbnail_IMG_1113.jpg thumbnail_IMG_1114.jpg |

I would leave them as is, they are a neat conversation piece but based upon the condition and grades you would receive it would cost you more to grade them then you paid for the cards and what they are worth. I have never soaked a card and have no plans to ever do so so hopefully someone else can help you out there. Neat piece and always great to see new finds.

If it is a rubber glue you are SOL. If its an old paste and is water soluble you can soak in a shallow dish of distilled water and see if it will separate. Be patient though.

Sure, they're neat. But stop destroying them further. They've been through enough.

Mr. Tinker came to me in a dream last night and said "please stop, I'm re-connected now......enough, this tape is itchy!" lol Poor Walter Johnson is still looking for his top 20% including his head so he did not say anything to me in my dream but I felt his pain! Peace, Mike |
