Default Small Cardinals Jersey

Spotted this small Cardinals jersey in an antique shop this past weekend. Actually it's a 3 piece set with jersey, pants, and hat. Tag was present in the collar but was bent up and couldn't read it. I was in a hurry so I didn't go get anyone to open it up so I could inspect it better. Condition appeared to be really nice. Hat was present which I can imagine would be difficult to still be present with the set. Looks like it would fit a child in the area of 2-3 years old. Tag described as 1950s which looked accurate. I didn't buy it but thought it was pretty cool. I don't have any kids - it I had a young son there wouldn't have been any thinking involved! Any thoughts on it?

Don't know too much about the value of a youth jersey but the price isn't too bad. The hat is cool; I know a guy who has a similar youth cardinals jersey that he put on a small child mannequin (sp?) as a display. He said it reminded him of when he was a kid and made a cool display. I'd make an offer of like $40 probably and at least you know you can usually get 10% off at antique malls.
