Introducing my Friend Gil Black.. !!!
Dear Net 54'er's:
Please allow me to indroduce you to my friend Gil Black. After graduating from High school as a star pitcher in 1954, he signed a contract & played for the West Palm Beach Indians an affiliate of the then Milwaukee Braves organization. He then played for the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro American League. Somehow Gil, missed out on the baseball card shows of the 80's & 90's. Gil is now interested in making some appearances & sharing his exploits of the Negro League experience. Gil is now 77 so any shows or appearances kinda close to home would be nice.
