Up for sale tonight is an ORIGINAL Type I Photo picturing the 1920-21 Sioux City (IA) Packers Team including future Hall of Famer, Jim Bottomley (back row standing, fourth from left) prior to his days with the St. Louis Cardinals. This photo comes in it's original frame from which I purchaed it. The truly incredible thing about this photo is that Jim Bottomley played only the last 6 games of the 1920 season for Sioux City and then was promoted to Houston at the start of the 1921 season and never played another game for Sioux City. That means that there was only a 6 game time frame plus possibly Spring Training of the following season for this photo to be taken. The photographers print on the bottom-right on the front of the photo indicates that this is the 1921 Sioux City team so it was either taken prior to the season when Bottomley was still expected to play there or it was a season-end photo of the 1920 team. This photo is GUARANTEED to pass PSA/DNA Photo Authentication as a Type I Original should you choose to submit it. Please review scan of the photo for condition details as the total measuremnets of the framed photo are approximately 10" X 17".
