This is the Official RSVP thread for the 11th Net54baseball Dinner at the National Convention, for 2012, in Baltimore. It will be on Friday evening, Aug. 3rd, of the event. All members, family and friends are invited. All attendees must be RSVP’d. No one will be permitted without an RSVP. The event will be at the Hyatt that is connected (or next to) the National venue itself. It will be from 6:30pm till 12ish am.....with speakers starting at 7:30pm. Please remember the event is rated PG-13, for language (think lots of alcohol but a mature crowd otherwise ).... We have always had a ton of fun. The only requirement is that each attendee will be required to wear a paper nametag at the event with your first and last name (tags will be on site). No exceptions and I do enforce that rule. It helps me remember who folks are and has been very positively received over the years. You can RSVP for food and/or drinks. If you know you will be coming over late then please only RSVP for drinks. There is a chance that we will just have appetizers the whole night, I haven’t made that final decision yet, but there will be food and an open bar (with soft drinks and bottled water) for free, through the whole event. I need a first and last name, of at least the board member, when RSVP’ing. You can also email me an RSVP to leonl@flash.net I will acknowledge each person that does it that way and if I don’t, then it means you are NOT RSVP’d yet. I expect 125-175 folks as usual. Yes sort of. I spoke with the catering manager at the Hyatt today and am going to give her a count on the 19th of this month. That is about 2 weeks prior to the event and 8 days from now. If by then anyone is still a "maybe" just rsvp as a "maybe". I usually count each "maybe" as a half. ALSO, you only need to RSVP in one place, here in this thread.....my email (address above) or you can PM me too. There should be some very interesting folks attending too.
