Default Demmitt St Louis!

Dear forum folks,

I just added a Demmitt, St Louis to my Monster thanks to g_vezina_c55!!!! To say I am excited is an understatement. It's SGC 10 with writing on the card, but I love it. I can't wait to have it in my possession!!!!!!! Thanks Nelson!!!!

That was a nice buy and I think you'll enjoy it. Most of my variants are weak...I am ok with it. Doesn't mean I won't eventually upgrade them (especially the Lungren which is beyond ugly) but they can certainly stand in until I am ready.

Barry:

Thank you for the kind words. Hearing your wife has stage four lung cancer, then dies ten weeks later, while raising a five year old with a demanding, travel laden career was hard. But we made it through that hard time, started two businesses, found an amazing woman to share my life with, and realized there is life out there after dealing with that tragedy.

Baseball will always be in my blood, and I will always be drawn to vintage stuff. So thanks to Leon for giving me a place (here) to share my passion with others.

Thanks, Clayton! But I didn't do anything anyone else wouldn't have done in the same situation.

I paid $700 for the card that was offered here in the BST section. I LOVE beaters and have no issue with the writing on it - I personally think it adds character to the loved card. Others may disagree, but I love it.

Hi Paul-

No doubt, that's all that matters is that you love it. That's one tough card to add to the collection and I would be just as excited as you

Sincerely, Clayton
