Default Opinions on a tobacco card

Hello,

I recently received a T206 Johnny Evers, and have some questions as to whether it is real or not.

I posted a picture of the front and back of the card on my blog. The post can be found at this link:

http://baseballdimebox.blogspot.com/...days-pt-3.html

More pictures can be posted if needed.

Thanks!

Hi! From the looks of it, it does look like a reprint. The print of the card (at least from the picture) looks black and way too big. Then again, I could be wrong. Is the print color actually black, or is it like a dark brown?

Sorry, but that card is a reprint. The colors and font are all wrong, here's a legit one for you to compare.

Default Reprint

No Factory # on the back is indication of a reprint.

Sorry,
Craig

Also not a possible front/back combination, sorry for the bad news.

Not a problem, everybody. Since I basically got it for free, I was pretty sure it was a fake anyways, as I mentioned on my blog post. Just wanted to get a few opinions on it.

Thanks again!

A black light would help you discern the authentic ones from reprints...
