http://www.ebay.com/itm/1906-World-S...item27c752448e I had seen this on ebay and never seen anything like this befor and i know advertising was different a 100 years ago but what a different item. do you thin its real from the pics? was it hand made bye a fan or factory made?

If it was a modern reproduction, there would most likely be a plethora of them around. The economics of making modern reproductions of metal items is you have to make a ton of them to make up for the initial production and design costs.

It's real, and a pretty nice example (factory made). It's missing only the coat hooks, but (with patience), those can be relplaced with comparable antique versions.

I think its interesting that baseball was so big then they made about anything and people would buy it and now as collectors we treasure these different items.

The hooks on mine seem like a more solid composition. I can't tell if they are "coated" or not. But the color of the hooks matches the mirror to a "tee".
