Mantle K55 Binghamton State Bat
Just curious if anyone has seen a Binghamton State mantle model bat before. It's marked K55 on the barrel. Any ideas what this is? Any value whatsoever?

Jon,
Maybe a Mantle H & B model used for college baseball I'm guessing. Doesn't this make sense? I'll wait for some of the bat experts to weigh in....

It is a college bat. When colleges placed bat orders, they were sent professional grade bats, better grain than store model bats, but the bats often had signatures of the day's stars. These are basically "pro stock" bats. I have seen a handful of Mantle bats from different college orders.
