Have any of you seen 1929 R316's with ad backs before? Take a look at the cards below. While they appear to have paper residue on the back, the ad back is clearly evident. I know other cards (1930 W554, etc) have been seen with ad backs, but I don't recall seeing any R316's with ad backs. Any ideas regarding value for these R316's?

Brad, never saw these before & have no idea of value.
I looked up the movie "The Cohen's & Kelly's in trouble" which was released in 1933. 4 years after these cards were made. So apparently some marketing guy got a pile of these cards on the cheap and came up w/ a novel way to advertise the movie's appearance. |

Not sure about pricing. They're probably only worth a buck or two, but I'll give you twice that!

Wow! What a difference, Leon. Great job!
How long did you let it dry after pulling it out of the water? Did you pat it dry with a towel? Did you put books on it to flatten it out? If so, how long did you leave the books on it? I've never done this before and would be interested in trying it with mine.... Thanks!
