Evening Folks,
Over the last couple weeks I have been searching the internet in hopes of finding the image that was used as the basis for George Gibson's T206. Thus far, I have yet to find it. What I have found is two non-T206 cards that, until now, I had never noticed sure bear a striking resemblance to the T206. I'm 99% convinced they are the same image, but there are just enough creases/scratches/marks in just the right places to stop me from being certain. And so, I am curious to hear your thoughts. The image below is a composite of a T206 I own, and a 1910 E-Unc Orange Borders and 1911 E-Unc Baseball Bats Candy, both found on the internet. In your estimation, is this the same image? ![]() Thanks for your opinions. Regards, Richard. |
