Ebay seller question..??
So, I sold some items on ebay. I looked on the seller dashboard and found out that I am still waiting for payment for those items. Once I clicked on the link I found out that the checkout was completed but says that payment was initiated on 26th and that paypal was processing the payment. Its the 29th now and still no change in status. How long does it normally take for Paypal to process the payment? What do you think could be holding up the payment? Thanks for any information.

Hi Ed,
If you do not have a lot of feedback and the seller has not left any feedback on your sale, paypal will hold the funds either for 30 days or until positive feedback is left by the buyer. This just happended to me recently.

It's possible it was an e-check through PayPal. Those take up to 5 days to clear.

If someone doesn't have a credit card linked to their paypal account, it will take a few days to process the payment... If you have one listed as a backup fund source, paypal will immediately process funds taken from a checking account..
