Default No team signed items from the 2011 Cardinals

I heard this morning on the MLB network that there will be no team signed items from the World Champion Cardinals because Pujols wanted too much money. Kevin Millar explained that there are usually about a thousand pieces that the team is asked to sign and the different "tiers" of players get different fees, but that Pujols wanted so much more than the usual "upper tier" fee, that the cost to the fans would be cost prohibitive. If that is really true, then how much money is enough for this guy? I hope he signs somewhere this off season where they won't kiss his butt if he gets off to a slow start.
