Last time this worked so well with the Sam Leever thread I thought I would try this again with a more obscure player. Like last time, I'll do the telling if you do the showing. This time Ed Doheny, a tragic baseball story.
http://www.piratesprospects.com/2011...f-tragedy.html I'll admit, despite the fact I'm not even old enough to remember the 1979 Pirates WS win, I am a big enough fan of the team to hold a grudge against Doheny for causing us to lose the 1903 WS. I therefore never collected anything of his but it would be nice to see what is out there. I might be wrong but I believe he only has a sporting life cabinet so this might be more team photos available, playing from 1895-1903 doesn't lend itself to many card appearances |

I guess there are no Doheny collectors out there so why not try a new one without starting a new thread. Today's article I wrote was the preview of the 1903 WS
http://www.piratesprospects.com/2011...mparisons.html Anyone have any programs, posters, game balls, ticket stub, Honus Wagner's chewing gum.... If not just pick one of the players mentioned. Give it some time though, maybe the Doheny collectors just aren't savvy with the scanners |
