Help Dating Photo - Falstaff Team Photo - Nashville
I'm looking for a little help in dating this photo. I am assuming the Falstaff team was sponsored by Falstaff Beer who had a distributor here in Nashville, TN from at least 1950-72 (possibly prior to and/or later than that, but I found one definite reference to those years).
Any help would be appreciated, and if anyone would like a higher-resolution scan of the photo, let me know. (not sure why the back scan is appearing so much larger as it was scanned at the same res as the front) Last edited by thecatspajamas; 08-27-2011 at 10:01 PM.

Looks like 1960s to me..the gloves in the front row appear to be 60-70s models.

Falstaff Team
I would concur with 60s or 70s. It is difficult to tell if those jerseys are knits (70s on), or flannels (60s). My guess would be knits, in looking at the pants, and the piping, and those deep caps and the cap logo not flannel? Did they make those spikes with really long tongues in the 60s? I guess somewhere between 1965-1975 Anyone else?

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like that may have to be close enough dating to satisfy my curiosity, at least for now. Thanks for the added insight with regards to the equipment.
